Gratitude Gifts Today

Taking words right from Ann and one of her posts from Ecuador (where she was touring with Compassion International) last week:
"And thanksgiving only becomes thanksliving when joy in the blessings given from above — overflows into the blessings given all around.
Thanksgiving only becomes thanksliving when the thanks for His vertical, coming-down grace — is expressed as a horizontal, reaching-out grace.
Thanksgiving only becomes thanksliving — when thanksgiving to God overflows into a joy of giving.
The joy of giving thanks – is ultimately expressed in the joy of giving."

How absolutely true!

  1. What a sweet list. I've been enjoying the Compassion bloggers recount of their time away as well. What an incredible experience.

  2. We've been putting together our Operation Christmas Child boxes this month, too. It was cool to see in Ann's posts how those boxes are reaching the hurting.
