Capturing Summer

- in a jar!!

Actually - 15 of them!

Rhubarb chutney, a year's supply, ready for the pantry shelf.

Next up - raspberries in the freezer (first 2 containers went in yesterday) and raspberry jam!

How is summer going in your little corner of the world?  Are you enjoying the season's bounty?  I sure  hope so!

  1. Yum! Yum! Yum! That has to be one of my favourite summer treats from your kitchen. I'm going shopping next week for peaches to make peach date chutney in the slow cooker. I'll let you know how it turns out.
I'm heading to the farmers market tomorrow hoping for some good finds. This is definitely one of my favourite times of the year. Raspberries would be the perfect summer treat to find tomorrow. Here's hoping.

  3. Looks lovely, Crystal! We're looking at peppers next. And onions and garlic. Our garden is a bit overgrown this year so we're hoping for a little something but not expecting too much. Our strawberry crop was very good this year and we got 8 jars of jam. Brian talked about planting red raspberries next year! XO
